Sian has worked in financial services since 2006, beginning her career in a high street bank before moving into paraplanning in 2011. She has since held senior technical, coaching and leadership roles across the UK and Jersey, gaining both the LIBF Level 6 Diploma and the CII Level 4 Diploma.

She became Head of Paraplanning for a local IFA firm before achieving her long-held ambition of business ownership, first as a Director and co-owner of Plan Works and later as the founder of her own outsourced paraplanning and consultancy firm, Snazzify, launched in 2025.

Sam has built his career across both traditional and modern paraplanning roles, progressing into team leadership, consultancy, and senior management. Along the way, Sam has worked closely with financial planning firms at a strategic level, refining processes, developing teams, and supporting businesses to deliver consistently strong client experiences. These roles have given him a deep understanding of how high-quality financial planning is created, not only at a technical level, but through people, culture, and clarity of purpose.

Today, Sam is Head of Delivery at Equilibrium Financial Planning, working as part of the senior leadership team to maintain a standard of service and proposition that genuinely improves clients' lives. This purpose extends inward as much as outward; by empowering and developing the people within the firm, Sam helps foster an environment where individuals thrive and clients benefit from a cohesive, motivated team.

Mentoring sits at the heart of Sam's work. Throughout his career, the moments that have mattered most have been those spent helping others grow, whether refining a paraplanner's analytical approach, supporting a new adviser as they build confidence, or guiding leadership teams to embed discipline and momentum. Sam believes mentoring is one of the most powerful forces within the profession, as it accelerates confidence, sharpens judgement, and strengthens the financial planning process as a whole.

Chloe is a Certified Financial Planner™ and co-founder of The Paraplanner Club. She has worked across administration, paraplanning, management, and regulated advice, and now runs her own business.

Late-diagnosed as neurodivergent, she advocates for others who don't fit the traditional mould and believes neurodivergence is not a barrier to success in financial planning.
